The CPU 1513F-1 PN is the CPU with a medium to large program and data memory for standard and fail-safe applications that also contain distributed automation structures alongside central I/O. It can be used as a PROFINET IO controller or as distributed intelligence (PROFINET I-Device). The integrated PROFINET IO IRT interface is designed as a 2-port switch, enabling a linear topology to be set up in the system.
